Default DFW memebers, i need help

Just last week my car threw a rod and now i need some serious mechanical work. Does anyone know of a dependable shop in the dfw area? I know this could lead to an engine rebuild, what kind of cost am i looking at in parts and labor?

A used longblock might be cheaper if you can wait for the right buy...Then part out your old motor

Do what quickblue said. Look for a long block or a short block depending on if your heads are damaged.

i vote get a 6.0 truck block from a junk yard and it will be much cheaper to build it up then buy one already built.
