125 r.w shot on stock pump
hello,going to test and tune tomorrow,and was going to up my 100 r.w. shot to a 125.r.w shot.will the stock pump be o.k.?i have a wideband and fuel pressure guage.car is a 2001 b4c.stock internals down to the exhaust manifolds,with a stall,lid and m.t. drag radials.plugs are tr6 at 22 degree's of timing.on the 100 shot my a/f ratio was 11.6 last outing.just wanted some experienced opinion's .thanks.any help is appreciated.

take the timing down more around 21 and run a NGK TR7 PLUG if you do. To be safe. Just watch out if your pump is weak you could lean out that side of the motor and BOOM. If its not your daily driver I would do it if not I would not. 100 bucks for a fuel pump. OR $4,000 new motor.

i tried it this past wednesday at test and tune.i couldn't beleive it,but i was on the rich side for the run.a/f rato was 11.1.i did not have my jets with me ,so i just made that 1 run on the bottle.so i guess the fuel pump kept up o.k.

I was running a 150 shot on the stock pump for well over a year. I would worry about the transmission more than the fuel pump. My car only had 45-55K miles on it though. I got my Racetronix pump installed about a year ago, no issues.
