AN fittings vs NPT and e85 fuel
I'm currently putting together my fuel system, and have some questions about AN fittings and the use of e85 fuel.
First... why the use of an fittings vs npt fittings? Is it due to the 37 seat vs 45 for npt? Does it really make that much of a difference in the seal, or is it marginally better?
Also..I've been told that e85 will start to corrode even the anodized AN fittings after a year or so...so I've really been thinking that brass npt connections might be the way to go.
Any thoughts?
