only thing that is diff is the accessory drive. truck and vette accessories sit diff distances off the block. you cannot innerchange them.

I just want to use my LS1 short block & heads that I took out of my C5.What I want to do is by a used 99-02 Chevy silverado pickup with alot of miles and pull that motor out and put my 5.7 shortblock in and use all the truck stuff back in. Will have a problem? Are the the bolt holes different on a 4.8/5.3 motor then the 5.7.....................Paul
