Fairly meaningless question. Since turbos differ big time according to airflow. So big turbo might be able to do 15psi and get 1000hp and smaller ones might need 30.
But ok with my current slightly modified aps setup hope to hit around 1000 engine hp at maybe 18psi on my built 408. Assuming can hit about 100 lbs of airflow at 18psi or so, 50 lbs airflow per side.

If I had say 65lb /min turbos then might hit 1000 engine hp at 15psi on same engine.
So really you want to know what turbos and boost with those turbos and all the relevent engine details. Turbos will hit max power at lower boost on a bigger motor and also depends on how the motor is built up. Better flowing heads and cam also mean max power can happen at lower boost.
Its all about aiflow.

There are way too many variables involved between different setups to be even a little bit accurate given such limited spec's. B/c of back pressure increases being a bi-product of big cubed turbo cars, if your looking to make big #'s its usually a good idea to keep the cubes under 400....otherwise your going to peek out on your power b4 you get the boost up.

So do you think the Turbos I mention'd earlier would be big enough for the 427 or do I need to go bigger?

I'd personally go with something on a T-4 housing...
