Default T56 Swap, price?

I have a 4L60E in My 98 Z and I'm getting bored with it, I've had it for 2.5 years and I've decided I wanna do the swap...I was wondering if anyone knew how much it would cost for the parts?

thanks

Evan

I spent roughly $3500, labor, new rear main seal, new LS7 clutch kit, new master cylinder, new slave cylinder, stock shifter=blah!, console, pedals, 50K miles stock T56, drill mod and remote bleeder.

You have to get a tune for M6, which is another $100. I didn't have to because I already have HPTuners.

You can offset some of the cost when you sell your tranny, stall, mount, console and pedals.

This is by far the most enjoyable mod I had done to the car.

if you just be patient and catch stuff on a deal as it comes along on here you can do it for pretty reasonable price. Also go ahead and buy the good stuff for it and not some cheap crap you will have to replace in a year. Im doing the swap on my lt1 and so far ive got 1500 in it but i haven't bought a clutch or flywheel yet. Thats about another grand if i buy them new. Trying to catch them on a deal. My shop is going to charge 600 to do the swap for me
