My new toy...03 Merc CL600 Well, I'm really not a Benz guy, but when I found out how much power this thing makes I just had to have it!
It's a twin turbo V12 with 493hp@5000 and 580lbs@1800-3500...
I'll have more pictures up as I get some visual mods done (lightly smoke the tails, mirror turn signals, and clear+smoked side markers) and those wheels have got to go...just can't find anything I really like to replace them. It's actually a big car, so certain wheels don't really look "right" on it.
And then, of course, in the quest for power I will be sending the computer to Renntech for a ECU/TCU tune which gives it a little over 100hp more than stock...

CL55's and CL600's both drop like a rock, as do some of the E55's...supposedly it's because they are a car with a very small demographic. No, it doesn't have warranty due to it's age, and it's not a CPO car as I bought it from the original owner (who sold it to buy a new CLS)...but it does have only 30k miles and I took it to a Benz dealer to be inspected before I bought it.

My theory is, the o.e's caught on to people wanted after market wheels, not just enthusiasts, but regular consumers, so they spent less time making decent looking stock wheels since people where just going to swap them out and those who weren't didn't care any way.

that car is badass, my friends grandpa had a ......4 door s65 something or other, it was a while back. but that car freakin hualed ***.
