I think this works:

1. Press and hold presets 2 & 3 for about 10 seconds until the first 3
digits of the display code are displayed.

2. Write the numbers down.

3. Press the AM/FM button, write down the next 3 numbers.

4. Call 1-800-537-5140, when asked, enter 202107, press the # button and
enter the 6 digit code from the radio, you will get an unlock code, write
it down.

5. Go back to the car, press the HR button and set the first 2 numbers,
then press minute button and set the next two last numbers, press AM/FM
button, SEC should be displayed, turn on radio.

To remove customers code, repeat step 5. you should see --- on radio face,
the code is now out of the radio.

The Theftloc on my radio is on also. I followed the instructions above. The 2 and 3 give me a set of 3 numbers. But, when I Press the AM/FM button the numbers do not change. Is it possible that both sets of numbers are the same?

Thank you all - but the question was -
"Can both sets of 3 numbers be the same?"
And the answer to that question is YES!
Both sets of number can be the same.

The dealer number to use - that's still working is:

06010.
1. Dial the 800 number :1-800-537-5140.
2. It will ask you for the GM Division:
After you press the number of the GM Division
you need so if it's 2 for pontiac you press "206010" and then the pound "#" sign.

It will then ask you to enter your code and then press the astrick symbol "*".

It worked as of 24July2005 - like a charm - once -
1. one knows the that yes both sets of numbers can be the same - so when you press your AM/FM button and the numbers don't change - don't be alarmed - both sets of number can be the same and
2. you have a dealer code that works.
