Default Carbed stock bottem end 02 6.0 and 200 shot

Setup is stock motor with a ms4, victor Jr, 750 dp holley, shaved .020
317's with stock gm mls head gaskets. Holly blue pump on motor and seperate holley red pump for the spray...I'm running 7lbs of fuel press on a NX Hitman plate kit...Motor timing is 36 degrees now, how much would you pull? I've been spraying 150 with no problems pulling 6 degrees out. Recently I raised my motor timing from 32 to 36 and the car liked it so not sure what to do. I run ngk tr6's gapped at .35..I put some 110 in it to be safe..should 8 degrees of timing out be enough?

8 to 10 would be the average. I would start with 10 and see where the timing mark is on the strap of the plug. I have used the TR6 on 200 shots many of times but going one step colder or even just to the BR7EF would be a good change.

Have you ever bench flowed that Hitman plate on that intake? If not you may want to do so to make sure the discharge is hitting the four corner runners correctly. You would be much better off with the Gemini twin plate over the hitman on the LTX and LSX based Victor intakes.

No problem. Make sure you flow that plate on the intake. I know someone that lost two engines due to not flowing the plates when Edelbrock first released those intakes.

You can get a decent starting point from someone over the internet but you need to learn how to read your plugs.

If it were mine I'd start the fuel pressure out at about 6.5 and go down from there. You'll probably end up around 5.5 when it's all said and done. Like Dave said, pull 8-10* out of it and then read your plugs.
