New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - noob question about lower air box

i tried searching, but didn't come up with what i was looking for.
this is a total noobie question...

is the lower air box for the ws6 ram air t/a different from the non-ws6 cars?
does it sit taller or is there just a bigger gap at the bottom to let more air in?

i know, i know...i'm sure it's been asked a thousand times before.....:bang:

The WS6 one is taller I believe. My WS6's mouth to the air box is huge compared to my bro's regular T/A airbox.

the raised air box is part #12455209.

newgmparts.com was selling them for $90 shipped about 2 months ago...then i told a bunch of guys on the forums and i ran there stock out. there looking for $130 now
