Default what kind of flare?

whats kind of flare is on the 4l60e transmission cooling lines going into the transmission? is it a bubble flare?

Not sure what they call it but if there is an issue I have always suggested just replacing the whole line with a new oem one. Or you can make your own lines out of 5/16 steel ones and change the fittings in the trans to the proper ones. Another option is to go to braided lines with AN fittings. Vince

The older lines that screwed into the brass adapters on the trans are 5/16" inverted flare.

my 95 has a 60 e transmission, the lines are double flare. i have a 98 that i was making to lines on and after i made the line i realized its not a double flare. i didnt want to drop the trans down just to see what flare it is.

A '98 is going to have quick connect lines, not flares, unless you change the fitting in the trans.

there is no fitting all i see on mine is just the threads on the transmission. i guess im missing fittings that go into the transmission? anyone have these fittings?
