I am looking for the grill that could be ordered on the SS as an SLP option (I believe in 2001-02?). It is like THIS ONE , but instead of the bowtie in the center it has "SS" in red. I looked on SLP's website but found nothing. Anyone know who sells this grill?

Jeff,

You will have to call SLP and give them your VIN # from your car to order the grille. This is what I found out when I ordered mine. Hope this helps.

They told me that the "SS" is backordered about 6 weeks. Gotta wait til then. But They've got the bowtie one in stock. DOH!

6 weeks?? Damn, I have one sitting in my garage. The SS is black with silver outlining. It came on my '02 SS but I switched it out for a Black Billet grill.

So, how in the world does someone go about getting one of those, if their car is not an SS? Have a friend with one, call and order it for you ?
