Default AWESOME EFI race today, including Quick Time 8

What a great day today at the GM EFI race!!!!!!

Tunrout for the premeier class, the Quick Time 8 was nice with 9 cars entering the class. We had a one line lock take a car out, sorry guys and our leader's clutch was acting up and was out of the race with a tire issue after qualifiying for hte field.

I was happy live on the bottom like by good friend pizza boy used to do before he was demoted to the little leagues and qualified eight. I was happy to see another vette in the calls, Jay McCardle (4DRUSH) qualify 4th and then go on the take the win in a very close final race agains Ric in in the firehawk.

The 11.5O was not full but still good turnout for the first ever with Pizza boy going to round 2 before being schooled by our Anger Managerment, Tommy Michalkowski who went on the win that class.

Camaro Dave did an awesome job in the brakcet going to the final where he fell on short losing to Louis Calchhia in the final there.

Triple play for the Vettes....awesome.
not that i am biased or anything...LOL.

I was posting updates on twitter at www.twitter.com.CorvetteChallen and I probably should have told you soonner I know.

Thanks agian to Barry and QTP and all our our new sponsors, Cartek, Rocksand, Sphon, Muffles and SSP

woo hoo!!!

Schooled me? Uhh...talk about painting an inaccurate picture.
My car didn't run the number for some reason (heat?)
So as a result, Tommy fendered me at the stripe.
(He was holding about 1.5 second in his pocket, so the heat was not a big issue for him)

Otherwise my performance was Outstanding!
(No offense Tommy, Edgar is stirring the pot as usual, congrats on the win.)

Redgar you are such a Punk!
Little Red Clown Weather Shrek, why didn't you tell us it was going to be 95+ degrees out today?

You Stink!

I also had a great, in-depth conversation with this really nice guy while I was shooting pic's under the tunnel. He owned a shop in NJ, and we talked for quite a while. He obviously knew me from somewhere.. and I said my name is Bob.. no response.. then I said "If you're on LS1Tech, I'm Mr. B."

It was at this time when Julio (Tekhombre) from Cartek actually realized who I was! Well we got a good laugh about that!

Had a great time as usual. I also met Bob ( Mr. B). Nice talking to you.
Thanks to Barry and QTP for putting this event on again. Thanks to all the new Sponsors.
Especially like to thank Redgar for hooking me up with alternate directions to get home. The Turnpike was closed southbound due to an accident and I took Rt.9 to 195 to bypass the traffic. It worked out perfect. I owe Edgar a Little Red Clown Weather Shrek CHEESEBURGER.
Congratulations to Jay for winning the Quick 8.
Frank owes me that tail of his also.
