Default What can cause "False Knock"?

I was wondering what you have found that has caused "false knock"... like exhaust, ect....

I have knock and have retarded my spark tables like 6* across the table and still get KR!!! I am really starting to think its false knock

I ordered my NGK wideband friday so i can start over on the tune and do it right....

98's were the most sensitive knock sensors. I had my ORY give me some nice KR. So I got rid of it and got the TSP dumps. Now I just have the open down pipe.

Is it showing KR or is it just pulling timing by itself?

As stated many things can cause it. The biggest problem I've had was the Y pipe banging, which I fixed with poly mounts.

You can tweak the sensitivity of the knock sensors so they are not as sensitive but you need to get rid of all mechanical noises also. But until you have a wideband, it may just be lean causing it.
