Default My track results

Well first time back in the car since October when I did a track rental. What a freaking hot day but the car ran real consistent. I entered the 10.50 index class. 11 cars total.

1st pass I ran alone I decided to run all out.

1.36
6.551
10.413
125.63

2nd pass, raced the #1 guy in the class. He was way out on me so I assumed I was slow so I stayed in it the whole way.

1.38
6.555
10.418
124.83

I broke out on both qualifying passes, but according to the new rules it allows me to stay in the class but I had to be the last place qualifier. So I got matched with the #2 qualifier who had a 10.52 in qualifying. My rookie mistake I got off the gas at the 1000' mark to not break out and he blew right past me. He said I had him smoked and he couldn't catch me

Him Me
.107 .128
1.460 1.383
6.741 6.557
10.58 10.632
124.46 121.37

I got seat time, so I am sure next time out I'll do alittle better. Qualifying last did not help. Overall I was happy with the car considering the heat.

Pics and vids to come

Good times to be had.

This is where you learn, and where you get your practice in.

learn your car and know what it does in the cold and in the heat, make your logs and learn form that and you will get some trophies.

Yes as long as i'm 60 footing 1.3s I'm happy

Well the converter seems to be better, I just didn't show much gain because of the heat.

Not sure on the intake manifold or fuel delivery, but more often then non Fuel Injected cars do not seem to fall off in hotter weather when compared to a DA that is 500-1000. When it gets cooler -1000 to 0 they seem to pick up nicely

That is def good info to know.

congrats, sounds like she is running good. and with 1.3's on motor, sounds like your converter is right on. what converter is it?
im thinking i might send my converter back and have him loosen it up to run on motor, see if i can run in the 1.2-1.3 on motor with the new power and run the 9.5 class.
we'll see.
nice runs, my buddy said he saw your car run, said it looked good

That's Awesome Marco. You must be so happy to be racing this early in the season for a change. Looks like you're running real strong too. Keep at it man and enjoy. See you out there soon!

Very consistent. And they dead hook. I'm only footbraking it though, not sure how they would react if I was to use the tbrake.

Not the same. 2 years ago I fought trying to get the car to leave on the brake, wasn't happening for ****. footbrake even the goodyear radials I was trying worked good, transbrake with anymroe then 3800 rpm they went up in smoke. I had the best results leaving at about 1200 rpm.

Guys do get it to work though, just a matter of playing. If you're already running too fast for the index on a full out run you're just gonna have to play the game more on the big end if ya get faster.
