Exhaust mani for S10 swap
I have been looking through some of the threads on here and noticed that a few are running the f body stock exhaust manifolds when they swap an LS into an S10. Was wondering if anyone has done this when they swapped to an 99-02 S10 or not. I have tried the truck manifolds, but no dice on them...i would have to notch and cut into the firewall quite a bit to make them work.
Main question is, will the Fbody manifolds fit better without any modification/notching or minimal work than any of the other manifolds? Do not want to use headers. Just looking for anyone with exp with the stock manifolds.

I just sold a set of lsx s10 swap manifolds and y-pipe, manifolds were from 98-99 f-body, the guy who had them before me said they worked great, I never had a chance to use them on my truck.

LS2 manis are not the Fbody ones. I just interested in the hard facts at the moment not prices or for sale items. i need to know if they work...so far i have one that is somewhat confirmed. thanks reds10406.

There are no stock LS-engine exhaust manifolds that will work on an S10 conversion.
98-99 F-Body manifolds can be used if the collector flanges are cut off. A short piece of pipe needs to be welded to extend them.
If those F-Body pipes look like these, they will work with the right set of engine mounts.
