Default seafoam???

I have a 97 z28 with 141K on it. should i run seafoam? dose this stuff work?

yea it works good. Just make sure you put it in thru a vacuum source on the intake manifold. Do not put it directly into the oil.

I look at the can and it doesn't really say how to use it. would i just put it in any vaccume line?

Ok I know somewhere I read not to directly add this to your oil. But the link above is from a reputable source, so give it a shot i guess...Just follow the steps in the link above. I am always leary about adding stuff to the oil, not trying to spread bad info either.

nah its understandable, its not normal to put anything besides oil in there. Ive done it numerous times on mine and other cars and never had a problem.

seafoam is great! put it in my oil about a week ago and just changed it.. no problems just a clean engine

is it true that if you have oil leaks it will make them worse ?

when i used the spray can seafoam and directly sprayed it into the intake, i definitely felt a difference after.. the idle was smoother and the car just seemed to be running cleaner

when i put it in the oil i felt no difference at all.. the oil was extremely dark when i changed it tho

My idle became much smoother, and got much more responsive in the lower RPMS, completely eliminated the slight hesitation I had.

Yes. Very easy and inexpensive to do. Worked great for me.

I was leary(sp) like several other people, especially when it came to putting it in thru the brake booster line, but everything went accordingly.
