Default How does this Pressure Plate look?

Does this PP look ok? It supposed to have "200" miles on it.. What do you think?

I don't know if it can be resurfaced but it has got hott a couple times.

Yes it will resurface. Any decent clutch shop or heavy machine shop can do it. I have resurfaced my SLP PP 3X.

it might be able to get resurfaced. find out if the spring is in good shape tho. i was going to resurface my pressure plate but decided to buy a new one just in case the spring wasnt strong enough.

I would say it's usable. It has a few hot spots but I've seen MUCH worse before with cars that didn't have any issues driving. But it might be worth it to have it resurfaced just in case. I could see how it could only have 200 miles on it, maybe 200 miles of teaching someone how to drive a stick though. With 200 miles it shouldn't look like that.

Well. it really doesn't look that bad. You can tell that it really wasn't seated very well, and that as a result that it slipped a bit. But in order to better understand the amount of wear present I need you to mic the disc thickness. The disc started at .310" thick and any more than .025" wear will mean that the disc needs to be replaced. Once I have this info I can tell you more. Thanks!
