from the factory we have a Y pipe. You can get an ORY if you want or you can get one w/ cats. Then the cat back system is your own choice. I am currently running Hooker LT's, 3" ORY, and the 3" Borla catback. I havent personally started mine up with this setup yet but I have heard this same setup on other cars and i sounds bad ***.

lots of companies make or y-pipes but if you are planning on getting long tubes later you could hold off on that so you dont have to buy another one later. as far as the catback goes....find a GMMG and buy it. its by far the best sounding system that i have heard.

I bought my slp loudmouth 1 used on here for 150, It was in great shape. Modular systems such as the LM1,2, Texas speed, and the like you can really just buy used and if necessary just replace the bullet muffler. Save some bank.

^ I would recommend buying them directly from the manufacturer, to avoid mark-up.

byunspeed.com has great deals and free shipping over $100

ws6speed.com is pretty damn good too, withususally low prices.

Shop around dude, find the best prices, search the classifieds here, for some gently used parts for cheap.

This kit is for all f-bodies. The adapter they are talking about is the s-pipe that goes from the passenger side connecting to the single cat OE y-pipe
