If you do a search on thirdgen.org you will find a bunch of info for the LT1 swap. If it was me, i would save money and do the LSx swap. More bang for your buck.

Thats what I was leaning towards. But saw a great deal on a lt1 motor.

how hard was the swap to do? I will be going from a 2.8l to a v8. I know I have to change motor mounts and all that.

it really was not to hard having someone else do all the wiring and stuff lol it runs pretty hard well it did before my tranny started going out it ran a 13.8 on street tires with crappy traction

nothin that was stock well just a moroso cold air intake and mallory ignition box

that's not bad. I am trying to decide what set-up i want to run with. We have worked on a lot of lt1's, so I am familiar with them. plus now they are one of the cheapest motors to get right now.
