Default What clutch for a slightly potent LT1?

Car has a 4L60E at present but will swap it over to a six speed in the fall.

Will make 500+rwhp with the six speed and 9 inch rear.

This is a streetcar that will see the occasional dragstrip pass and the occasional trackday HPDE event.

Weighs 3600lbs with driver, has a 4.11 geared 9 inch.

Also what needs to be done to the six speed to make it live?

Well I have always had cars with sticks in them, this car had a six speed from the factory and I swapped it to drag race it, stick cars that are heavy tend to break parts regularly.

I am done drag racing it, I want to track day it from time to time. Gonna change the wheels and put the a/c back on.

We make a Street Twin with either a steel flywheel or aluminum flywheel that are good to 1200hp. 64022-1A-07 for the Steel. 63022-1A-07 for the Aluminum.

That would depend on who you purchased it from. Thunder Racing and Speed Inc, are two shops that come to mind that move allot of these units. Speed South is one that may be closer to you. Give them a call.

I considered a twin and the great cost associated with them....

I am sure am glad I went with the Monster Level 3 as it performs great and drives very smooth... and it's nearly half the price of most of the twin setups....
