Default What would you do? Nitrous or Cam

Going to be getting into another f-body and been thinking about how I want to go about it this time around. I've had a cammed trans am and it was a lot of fun cruising around and racing, only went 1170s though. The sound it gives the car is awsome.

This time around I was thinking bolt ons and nitrous. 125-150 shot should be good for 1090s. Bad part is it doesnt have the sound of a cam.

Which path would you take?

Cam first then. I enjoy my cam every day. I enjoy my N2O 1-2 per month.

a good well planed cam only will get you very close if not in the 10.xx's and if not like your 11.70 you were about a little 100 to 150 shot away from a sound 10.xx run.

Well I dont want to dont things to the car to make 1090 cam only. I am not taking out a bunch of weight and I'd rather not change the gears.

Both isnt an option lol. Eventually down the road I'll have both. Another thing is the car already has a 3200 stall, good for nitrous not good for a cam.

I'd do an ms3 then 100 shot. That setup should be good for 10s all day long.

Heads and Cams are gateway drugs.
Before you know it, you'll be building a forged stroker with a big cam and multi-stage N20. LOL

Cam then spray. With just spray your car is going to be slow most all the time.
