shifting issue with 9 inch with locker????
200 f-body?? anyone come across rough engagement when shifting threw the gears ,mostly 2nd & 4th with a moser 9 inch with a locker, but once u drive the car 5-10 miles an its hot it will shift fine until its cold again,,rebuilt trany, already,an its still the same

I had the same problem once I swapped to a moser 9". Just so happens that I have a locker aswell. All of my gears got alittle harders to shift. The shift felt more notchy and harsh. I talked to 2 sponsers about it and they both said they had never seen such an issue. Once the trans warmed up a bit it bacame manageable.

same here, installed a MWCP 9 with 4.30's and a locker. also has solid motor mounts. using standard ATF in the trans and 80-90 in the rear. 1-2 gear change there is a solid thud, kinda a notchy sound, never did it before. it seems like from 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 it gets quieter. it almost seems like a mis adjusted clutch, but nothing was changed.

Same here, just the nature of the locker. A six speed with a locker isn't the smoothest combo anyways, but if your clutch drags even the slightest it'll seem like your **** is falling apart constantly.
