How far can I Mill my 806 heads W/O probs

milling 806 heads ok. can I go 35mm? and what decrease in combustion chamber area? And what about a compression change with a stock Ls1 block? And any fitment issues with 1 3/4 inch headers. Also what will there be as far as a temp change..and any issues there. thx for ANY input, Mike

Looks like milling .035" inch will provide a 10.65:1 compression, with is to say, about 5cc smaller than stock on those heads. That nets slightly better than 243 castings, stock.
Depending on the cam/spring combo, all I would think to be worried about is piston/valve clearance issues.
It's not looking like a ridiculous deck. Should put the heads at ~64 cc chambers.
