Default gear drive timing setup for LT1's?

is there a gear drive for LT1"s to replace the timing belt setup? pic below...ive been looking but i havent found any for the LT1. thanks

Lt1s do not come with timing belts..geardrives suck power use the OEM set up

just a regular timing chain. why do you want a gear drive?

he prob wants the gear whine so he thinks he has a blower under the hood.

If you are not running a knock sensor, it's ok. Otherwise, it will drive the knock sensor nuts from the noise.

+2...don't waste your money on a gear drive.
If you have durability issues, get a double roller timing set and run an EWP.

Yeah from what ive heard the gear drives do use more power up compared to a timing chain.

yup, no point in wanting something that eats up power. Just get a double roller from GM and you will be fine. If your wanting the whine of a supercharger under your hood, then...get one!

if you notice the old school blower guys use gear-drive units so they have NO WORRIES with timing chain slack/stretch which will kill a blower motor. they can sacrifice the power loss for the actual power gain..

there is nothing wrong with buying a NEW factory timing set up you have 3 choices from GM
stock Lt1
Lt4
Lt4HD
