Default Old cars weight vs. new car

Both cars are hard top m6's

Old car was fully loaded and weighed 3490 with the usual stuff removed with the 17" SS wheels.

The new car has no options (manual everything) and I removed all the a/c and heater stuff, radio and speakers. It also has a very lite k-member, bogarts, and a 6 point chromoly roll bar (the old car didn't). It weighs 3270.

Both weights are with me in the car and 1/4 tank of gas.

I thought it was going to be little lighter.

im impressed by how much less it weighs, from what you said it only sounded like 200lbs, and the roll cage is good to add another 50lbs

either way, a hella lot lighter than my car lol- what do you consider to be "the usual stuff" for you old car

On the old car I removed the rear seats and belts, front bumper support, cd changer(didn't work), spare and jack, and the washer fluid res.
