Default Changing Plugs in a 99 z28

So I was doing a search trying to find what is recommended for a stock ls1 car. And I was getting confused cause the past threads are all over the place.

What spark plug should I use for a stock LS1 and what is the perfect gap for them?

Great double plat plug is the Autolite APP5245 (4 bucks each)set at .055 or the gm iridiums(4 bucks each on ebay)(8 bucks each at the dealer) set at .050. Pull the passenger side coil pack if you want to keep your sanity. 5 10mm bolts and one electrical connector and it slide right off. You can change all the plugs from the top.

I know everyone will chime in ONLY USE THE GM iridiums at the factory setting of .040 but honestly thats complete BS!

I used the GM iridiums, seem like a pretty damn good plug for 4 Bucks a pop.
