Default stock LS1 heads VS stock 5.3s...

How do they flow compared to one another? Im talking about a non ported head. And what would it take to get the compresion up to about 10.5 .030?
And dont ask " why do you want stock 5.3s'' I have my reasons :p
thanks!

are you talking about stock, as in using the 5.3's smaller valves too?

You should get at least that compression without milling considering the smaller CC's on the 5.3 heads. You may see almost similiar exhaust flow numbers out of the 5.3's but since the intake valves are smaller stock, the intake flow may not be as good as the 5.7's are.

The 5.3 heads stock are 59 cc chambers which will make over 11.0:1 and will not flow nearly as well due to the shrouded 3.800" bore chamber and the 1.89 intake valves. It is a step backwards for a 5.7 engine. Hope this helps.
