What's involved with swapping a year 2000+ C5 pcm with the pcm in my 98C5?
Just thinking outloud here and was wondering what would be involved? Would this be as simple as putting in a newer model pcm and changing out the pcm wiring harness, etc.
The reason i ask is b/c the 98 A4 vettes are more difficult to tune via ls1 eidt concerning WOT tranny shift points, etc then the newer A4 vettes and just thinking about my options for the future if i can't get my tranny WOT shifting bugs squared away on my 98 A4 Roadster with its new 427 MTI built C5R now powering it.
Thanks for all informative input here!

You could repin the harness, but it is a wire-by-wire change. Some wires will need to be lengthened, I believe. From the early adopters of LS1Edit (like Cartek) who tried this, most said that it was easier changing harnesses.
Look at http://www.ls1.com/enginetorques.htm for pin assignment information. You'll see that there are a number of differences.
