Need .040 Cometics ASAP! Anyine know a shop that stocks them?

Default Need .040 Cometics ASAP! Anyine know a shop that stocks them?

Just like the title says, I need 2 .040 Cometic head gaskets 3.910 or an LS1 and pretty much need them by next Wednesday. If anyone has any still in the package they arent using or knows a local shop that may have them please let me know, id really appreciate it.

FYI, I tried CMS and they are out

call qmp in chatsworth im sure mike has a set for that bore size 818 576 0816

its in san fernando valley...chatsworth to be specific...you can pick em up local or he can ship them to you...

AFR is out in valencia and i know they stock stacks of different sizes.

what about that guy neverlift or something... doesnt he own a machine shop in santa ana?

I called and asked around but didnt find any. I ended up getting them through Texas Speed and having them ship them 2 day air for $30, from what I have seen they have the best price around so its not too bad.

Thnx, btw, what compression ratio are you aiming for? Vengeance Racing said I should be good on valve clearance with my 60cc 215 TFS heads, I hope. And with a 0.040 gasket Im looking at 11.5:1 c/r.

Im going for 11:1 or a hair over, im milling the heads and using teh .040 gaskets but I also have 3cc valve reliefs in the pistons so I need to cutit down a little more.
