Default ported FAST 92mm/NW VS LS6 at TTP

I got my ported FAST from Vengeance Racing and the intake/port job looks killer

The intake is installed and I dont feel any difference for now on the power level But the car has good driving manners. The install went good I could say.

So I called back my tuner, which are the guys from TTP, to get it tuned!!
My appointment is next tuesday morning and we should get things straight I'll get it on video too

I have the dyno sheet from last year to compare with my LS6/ported TB...

Any guesses on the hp gains??...wish me luck!!

***edit***
Results are in:

17rwhp/10rwtq corrected, 45rwhp/30rwtq uncorrectedlol(not to be counted as real numbers!!). Gained only from 4200-6400. Dropped as fast as my LS6 at 6200. Should have changed the cam instead. Not worth it with my combo. Zero SOTP effect. Drivability seems better. A/F ratio was leaner at 13.5 and was corrected to 12.9-13.

I have the graph with the last dyno comparison; will post it tomorrow..

At least I have the intake for my future stroker. And the nitrous hit hard 560rwtq baby.

I think the results would be better with a larger cam and better heads.

I'm starting to think that my valvetrain is tired after those 3+ years and might have an effect on the hp, but who knows...I'm getting new springs later this summer.

I'm guessing 25hp. That way you'll be disappointed.

Definately see some gains. Vengence porting I assume? I have a mamo ported 90/90 (w/ NW TB) and am extremelly satisfied. You should be very happy with your new induction package.

387/366 is the baseline, and 515/535 on the 150shot. Maybe I'll be uping the jet to 175

dont get too caught up in the dyno numbers, take it to the track to see the true gains...mine is a 92 ported by vengence also

i lost 13rwhp and 21rwtq on the same dyno...about a year apart over my ls6 ported stock tb...so i am only putting down 409hp and 373 tq now

here is the big but, i gained 1mph at the track with the same DA conditions when i had the old setup...so if i had to guess i gained anywhere from 5-10rwhp from the intake...i still might have lost some tq but the track prep wasnt there so i couldnt compare 60fts...

good luck bud...

Why do you think you lost power on the same dyno? Correction factor?

it was to be the only change was the intake...converter was locked...

they said it was recalibrated since i had been in last time...

so only true comparision in my eyes now is back to back... or with track results and similar DA

thanks!!

Auto are more tricky on the dyno than M6 though. Track is the true place to see gains, youre absolutly right. I cant believe I wont gain anything with this famous intake.

I kinda felt a SOTP upgrade while a 1-2 shift yesterday

Assuming everything is in good order, you're gonna see 10-15 ft lbs and 20 hp, I'll bet. This REQUIRES a tune, though. You'll be lucky to get 5/5 with no tune. You also need to clean/replace your air filter and fuel filter. Many times people bring in raggedy/beat on cars that aren't maintained properly and obviously, that will affect power. How many miles on the car? How are your injectors? Stock original? Ever been cleaned? Plugs/wires? Recent oil change? Fuel pump? Not busting your chops but make sure all your basic stuff is covered before you get your expectations up.

Yea you're gonna need to take it to the track.. a year later dyno comparison is not even a comparison imo.
