Default Inline Turbocharger Oil Filter

Is it required to use such filter to protect the turbo from debris in the oil specially with newly rebuilt engines?

Can the filter be a risk for turbo damage if it gets clogged?

Is anyone using such filter or is the engine filter enough?

I don't see what the point of it would be since most people tap the oil cooler port/bypass which is right above the engine oil filter and it the first port post oil filter, so the oil was JUST filtered.
