Default map sensor????

what are the limits on a 2 bar map sensor?ive seen comments that make me think the 2bar is not sufficient for 700-800rwhp

will my 98pcm work well with that power?isnt 2 bar my only option?

sorry ive been a bottle baby and didnt have too many problems in the 600rwhp range with the n20 just wondering how this stuff will work out with the d1sc

The MAP sensor is pressure dependent, not horsepower dependent. It will measure accurately up to 2 atmospheres, or up to 14.7 psi of boost. How much power you make has many other dependencies. Not sure on the 98 PCM, although I have the same question for my 97 LT1 PCM, where I would like to run a 2 bar MAP sensor.

gotcha so i will only be able to do 14lbs basically with 2bar.what about the nitrous on top of that will it be affected by the map or will it be okay to spray on top of maxing out the map sensor with boost

will likely be spraying around a 100hp wet shot after the charger

thanx for the help
