Default turbo 350

my buddy is wanting to put a turbo 350 in his 2001 ss camaro it has a 4l60e in it now just want to know which turbo 350 to use a long shaft or a short shaft one.....and does it involve any thing else(i know you have to buy a bracket for the torque arm)any other suggestions....thanks billy.

Is this a track car ? my car funds are tight; i have a worked th-350 from a trans master here in chicago by the name of turbo terry and im saving and building a 4l60e for my swap, i'd like to drive to the track and a few cruise nights, If its mostly a track car then ...
I'm sure you could buy an aftermarket driveshaft for either, although the short tail is more common.
