Default Just ordered MT's 295/50/R16 for stock 16x8 wheels?

Anyone else running these on stock 16x8" rims? Just wondering if they fit okay without any massaging of the fenders or anything? And wondering how they look on an 8" rim, anyone got any pics of them mounted up? Thanks...

You sure about that? It clearly states on the site that their made to fit a 16x 8"-10" rim.

I'm pretty sure it's not a 50 series sidewall or a 16" rim though. Apples to oranges.

That tire should work okay on the rim, never seen it though. It will probably look like it bulges a little, and will be taller than a stock tire. I would imagine you may have to roll the fender lip and massage the inner fender well slightly. When you get them on, take some pics and post them up.

just some more info I was looking at that tires alot, and the simlar M&H. I just got M and H and they just updated them. Same size, 275/55/16 the old PN was ROD08 now its ROD18 but the section with is 10.4 over the older 9.8 or somthing smaller. But they have a 9.5 contact patch and a 28.0 over the MTs that are 27.5 The MT are heavier I seen listed at 33-35 a tire. These M and Hs are 29.5#.
thats new MT II tread looks alor better for the street then the older one. I'm intrusted in how long they last. These MandH have .200 tread depth, off the rim there were like 8.5 inside the beads relaxed, so there fine on the 16x8. Summit pushed the MT backorder again, cool jegs has them. I got might right from MandH

Yup just ordered mine from Jegs, they say they'll ship monday. I almost went through summit till I saw the expected ship date wasn't gonna be till the 26th of this month so I would have been SOL for going to the track next weekend.

I did notice they were a little heavier at 33# when the MT 255/50/16's were only 29#... Also liking the new tread pattern as I didnt like hydroplaning @ 70 on the old MT's and almost dying lol.
I'm assuming they'll last about the same as the old tread pattern mt's since their the same compound. Mine lasted about a year and 7k miles with 2 trips to the track and countless street races, Not too bad considering I only got 8-10k miles out of nitto's and the mickeys hook considerably better...

ya, on the tread. thats was a worried about, After they got past 50% worn there didnt have any place for any standing water to go and were really unsafe.

Theres another good thread, when I was asking about the 28/16 MT vrs MH Drs and REDMAD?? the mod with the red c5 that works for NMRA or somthing ran them and posted some good info on them.

edit- found it
