Predator

Hey fellas, I have the stock Monsoon system except for an aftermarket Alpine head unit. Lately the speakers, every once in awhile, sound crackly and slightly distorted and pop, but this is not a constant condition, it comes and goes, which leads me to believe I don't have a broken speaker.

I'm not very savvy with electronics so I was hoping someone could give me some ideas on what things I should be checking. I think it must be some sort of connection, wiring, or ground problem but I don't have a clue where to start looking. Any ideas? Thanks.

It does it when the car is just still, idling, and underway. A few minutes ago it seemed to be ok when the engine wasn't running, but it did pop a couple times. It's completely random whether car is underway, idling, or shut off. Thanks.
