Got my part #s from strange for the correct bearings and seals, had my normal shop press off the old bearings and press the new ones on. What strange failed to tell me is that the new press ring will not allow the axle to slide all the way back in. Anybody know where to get these press rings from (strange, moser, parts store)? Gonna call that shop first thing Monday and see if he might still have the old press rings on hand.

Was it a thick Press ring like in the picture?

Yep it sure is. Did you have any problems with yours?

Yes I did. The press ring is too thick to work with a seal. The bearing should be the same standard bearing for the 12bolt. If not give Moser Eng a call and explain.
Moser engineering helped me out . Which was great. Here is a C&P quote from that.

You can purchase this bearing direct part # 9508M, or you can purchase from your local parts store using the SKF # 88128RB. This bearing has a centered steel cage, it does not have the O-Ring but when used with an inner housing (CR # 15141) seal it will take the side loading better than the O-Ring bearing. I hope this helps.

So did you just buy the new bearing with a new press ring? If at all possible I'm trying to avoid from having to buy a new bearing and just get a new press ring. I'm not quite clear how you got around your press ring problem, just bought the new bearing and installed it?

Bought new bearings with the thinner pressring.
