Needs some help with lifters. Ok so I'm putting in a new cam I have new pushrods and new springs. I just realized that I spaces on getting new lifters. I have been told that ls7 lifters would work on my block. That they are the same dimensions as my stock lt1 lifters. Is that true. If not what should I get

Not to rain on anybody's parade, but... Wasn't there some discussion a while back, saying that the pushrod seat in the LS7 lifter was a tad lower in the body than the LT1, LS1 lifter, therefore even though the outer dimensions were the same, the LS7 lifter could require a longer pushrod to maintain proper geometry?

+1 on the LS7 lifters working without a problem. As a matter of fact, if you want to get new hydraulic roller lifters for any SBC (including LT1's) from the dealer, they will give you LS7 lifters.

When will you be finished? Did you go with the CC503 like I told you to?
