Needs some help with lifters.
Ok so I'm putting in a new cam I have new pushrods and new springs. I just realized that I spaces on getting new lifters. I have been told that ls7 lifters would work on my block. That they are the same dimensions as my stock lt1 lifters. Is that true. If not what should I get

Not to rain on anybody's parade, but... Wasn't there some discussion a while back, saying that the pushrod seat in the LS7 lifter was a tad lower in the body than the LT1, LS1 lifter, therefore even though the outer dimensions were the same, the LS7 lifter could require a longer pushrod to maintain proper geometry?

+1 on the LS7 lifters working without a problem. As a matter of fact, if you want to get new hydraulic roller lifters for any SBC (including LT1's) from the dealer, they will give you LS7 lifters.
+1 on measuring for peace of mind.
When will you be finished? Did you go with the CC503 like I told you to?
