Default newbie with big problems

So, I posted on another site with my problems and exhausted ideas there. So, here's my story to see if I can get any other fresh ideas after I have tore it down.

So i changed the oil in my 02 Z28 today and found 4 needle bearings on the magnetic drain plug. Then i did some reading on here and found where alot of information on the rocker arm fulcrums falling thru. So, I pulled off the rocker arms and inspected them and found nothing. Then i disassembled one of the rockers and the bearing size is muc smaller than what i found in the oil pan. What I have is a little larger in diameter and a little longer in length also. Any ideas here? is there some sort of cam thrust plate that also has a needle bearing set up? Any ideas? please?

Now, I removed the rockers, destroyed one to verify different roller size, pulled heads and lifters the rollers on the lifters are also a differend length and size...what else could it be? It deffinately was getting a loud lifter noise thursday when I was driving it before the tear down and it wasn't close to the cold start up piston slap noise either... In the picture, the smaller bearing is from a stock GM rocker arm.

I believe the roller on the lifter has needle bearings that size.

Are you serious? What part of the pushrods would it be?

Maybe one of the pins that hold to roller on the bottom on the lifter?

Hate to say it but it looks like the motor is coming apart, if it were me id pull the heads and pull the lifters out and check them, if a few are missing the pins you may be ok to replace the lifters and put it back together.Id pull the pan too to make sure you got all of the metal. If nothing else its a good excuse for a cam swap.

Already tore down the motor, lifters look fine as do the rockers.
The bearing is about 1/8" too narrow for a lifter. I got a better pic if that would help. roller on bottom is a rocker roller, the 4 on top are what I found in the pan.

Also, i know the owner of car since 30k and got a copy of warranty info through work. At 20k miles the lifters were replaced do to "noise" and no other info is reported. As of now, the car has 85k miles.

Ok, so I just went out and cut apart a lifter...as predicted, completely different. Also I noticed that the rocker roller and this lifter roller is more of a polished condition and the 4 needles I found are not... Is it possible to be some sort of pins? I attached another picture of the lifter roller.
