Question Hi/low beam switch idea

ok in my dads 86 ford pickup it has a switch on the floor board to change the headlights from low to hi and i was wondering how you could do that in my firebird? im sure its alot of work but i wana know if it could be dun?

compare the two and you will see that there is no room for such a switch in your car.

you have a much narrower space for feet/pedals and a dead pedal while pickups have acres of space.

Yup. I saw pictures. It was mounted high on the plastic dead-pedal/foot-rest on the left.
