if i remember right the middle wire is the signal wire, one of the other should be 5 v and the other ground, if you can turn your key on check them

GM 2 bar sensor plugs right into the factory harness, all that is required is the 2 bar OS from HPT/EFIlive etc....

If you're referring to the old style 2 bar, (i.e. the one that doesn't directly plug in) It's the same as the 3 bar right? A:ground, B: Signal, C: +5v?

I ran the GM 2 bar map sensor (168pn) on my 98, plugs right in to the factory harness. Went 2 bar SD OS from HPT.

I'm now going 3 bar with the MAFT PRO SD with real time WB a/f tracking.

Waiting on the 3 bar MAP sensor from ballenger motorsports....cheapest place I can find em for the gennie made in the USA sensor.

Why even go with anything related to the MAF? You are still limited to 512 g/sec.....

slow67, who said anything about a MAF? How bout a google LOL. MAFT PRO is a SD=SPEED DENSITY fueling system that is 3 bar ready, can control boost, and has real time WBO2 correction. Yeah you can run a MAF with it, but thats not what I'm doing. I haven't run a MAF in years. Although MAF's can't be too bad. We made 752rwhp on a 396ci LT1 on 15psi with a MAF tune. As for the maftpro Kyle and harlan successfully ran it on his car with great results, I have Kyles old MAFT PRO box.
http://www.maftpro.com/tproinfo.shtml yes one of our sponsors carries it, fullthrottlespeed.com

Brianfromhawaii,

Thats the connector alright.
you bought the wrong MAP sensor, Sorry. The PN's are listed in the Turbo FAQ's at the top of the page. We have the PN's listed with descriptions so its easy as ordering the right PN from the dealer, GMpartsdirect....etc.

TWO BAR SENSOR FOR HPT/EFILIVE 2 bar

GM PN 12580698

New PN for the above sensor, seems GM updated the PN.

Well I don't know a whole lot about it, but it looks like it feeds the stock pcm a faked MAF signal based upon its own VE table, which still would limit you to 512 g/sec. Correct me if I'm wrong, but thats what it looks like (I don't know a whole lot about the MAFT setup).

Yes. Tap the manifold and install a barb fitting (1/8 npt x 1/8 barb will probably work well) run a vac line to the 2 BAR MAP you have and connect the wiring A:ground, B: Signal, C: +5v. A,B,C are labeled on the Orange connector.
