Default Anyone converted to a dual plane intake?

There is a local heads up class I would like to run in but they only allow carb'd cars with a dual plane intake and a restrictor plate. I don't know anything about carbs and I know lots of people have done single plane intakes on LT1s with the 860 Elbow or 4 hole TB. Question is would a dual plane intake make at least as much power as the stock LT1 intake? The class is currently running 6.60s in the 1/8th.
