stock monsoon head unit with aftermarket sub. how does it sound?

it will work, i did it for a buddy till he ended up doing the whole system.

we did an infinity 12 on like 350rms or so worked well

i bought a double din to put in but now im having second thoughts, i think i want to stay with factory head unit. anyone else have luck with this setup?

It works and will get you substantially more bass. Sound quality does suffer some but if your just looking to add bass to your system then it will work.

I've replaced EVERYTHING in my system EXCEPT the Monsoon HU. I use a PAC OEM-1 to get dual RCA outs as well as an amp turn on lead. I'm VERY happy with my system. You can check it out at the link in my sig.
