Default ? about a 355 LT1 setup with valve clearance and head gasket choice!

So will I be good to go with .026" head gasket with a 355 lt1 setup. I have of course a 30 over forged piston with port and polished heads although I'm going to be running a cc306 cam. Will i have to worry about the pistons slapping the valveswith that big a cam and a 2 valve relif piston???? I'm thinking I should be good considering I'm running the stock length rods, forged 5.7 esp eage rod. What do you all think?

Are the heads getting milled at all?
You should be checking your piston to valve clearance during pre-assembly anyway, just to be sure.

You will be fine. That's a very common setup. P/V clearance is rarely an issue with these motors.

The heads are not milled just a set of port and polished LT1 heads with a 3 angle valve job...I was thinking that I would be good, so would you all do the clay method trick to check the clearances or what?
