Default Programming 5.3l pcm

I have a 2005 5.3l with harness and 4l60e, and have the underhood truck fuse block still mounted to the harness. Harness is connected

I want to start the car and try tune get the bugs out before I add the turbo.

I am in mckinney and I need someone to program my pcm.

How big of a headache is this? LS1 Edit? Is this something that is plug and play?

Do I send it out or is it better to program in the car?
