Okay I finally got around to testing my fuel pressure. I thought it might be my fpr but after pulling off the vacuum line and there being no smell of gas I went ahead and tested the pressure. I have 46 psi upon priming...as soon as i turn the key back off tho it drops straight to 38 psi and the quickly (like 15 seconds) drops down to 0. Is that normal to drop that quick after you turn the key off. I didnt get to test the pressure at wot because the hose wasn't long enough to get the gauge to my windshield. Also I do notice that if my car has been sitting for an extended period of time I have to prime it twice to get it to start up quickly or else if I dont it will just crank for 5-7 seconds before it fires up.

going threw the same exact problem right now except mine will flash to 40 or 50 psi right away (priming) then down to nothing within a few seconds. I'm replacing the regulator today, I also checked my injectors lastnight and none of them seem to be leaking.

If anyone else has any ideas let us know! I will let you know if the new regulator (comes in today) fixes it.

Ya i have replaced my pump twice, checked my injectors, so this is about the only other thing it could be besides a hole in the lines somewhere but i'm not leaking anything so i dont think that'll be it. As soon as the stupid fedex truck gets here i'll try to get it on before work and see if it fixes it and post back.

Either your check ball in your pump is bad, you have a bad fpr, or you have leaky injectors.

I had a very small hole in the hose from the pump to the metal line coming out of the tank. It acted just like yours. I found it by removing the bucket and pressurizing the line, it was a very small hole in a new hose from Racetronix.

+1.

Same thing with my factory pump. Had a hole in the feed line going to the metal lines.

Symptoms were exactly the same as your describing.

so then whats the best way of going at this? Should I cut a hole in my hatch area for the fuel pump and take it out and look or how would I be able to tell if I had a hole.

Your going to have to cut a hole and take the pump out to check the lines they are talking about. I'm gonna take mine back out tonight and check the lines and all that again and see if i can't find anything. I just replaced the pump too thats why this doesn't make sense to me...

Well i put in a 255 pump in tonight and she starts right up now, I have had a few stumples since then but NOTHING compared to what it was doing before. I def say you gotta replace your pump man, like i said i checked the injectors and replaced the regulator and didnt have anyluck, put a good pump in it and works 100x's better...
