Default Cam swap

Just switched from a MS3 (237/242 .603 114LSA) cam to a custom cam (234/238 .598 111LSA) do I need a retune? Or will I be ok with running this cam with my MS3 tune?

Get it retuned... Just curious as to why you went to a smaller cam? More daily friendly?

I went smaller to maximize my average power across the board - broadening my powerband to allow for more average useable power. Bigger is not always better.

The new cam offers more torque/hp in the low/mid range. BIG seat of the pants difference and has the same if not better top end pull as the MS3. Patrick G spec'd this cam for me and it definately feels and moves faster than with my MS3.

The MS3 is peaky especially on the 114LSA i had it on

Nice nice. I had Predator-Z spec me a cam and it was about on par with what I expected, just a tad smaller. Custom 224/230 .609/.605 110lsa+1 in a 4k lb vehicle
