Default head cam guys come in here.

I'm doing a motor for a customer here at the shop. He just purchased the new PRC cnc'ed 215 heads that came out 2 months ago and a MS4 package from texas speed. When I assembled the motor I noticed that you can pick the rocker up off the valve about .012 with the 7.450 pushrods that they gave him. My question is, should I go with 7.500, and what is the preload supposed to be?? This is on a stock bottom end.

Is that gap with pushing the push rod into the lifter or not?

A quick search found that .060 preload is what your aiming for for stock lifters.
