Need some advice
My mechanic wants me to go with an RPM 3.42 stage 2 rear diff for my 02C5 build.
Now I am thinking the C6 3.15 am running 2.73 stock. The reason is the following. I know people, and have had to pick people up who have had issues with the RPM diffs, using them for daily drivers and Blow UP. Usually on the highway not good as far as am concerned. Yes it can be a thousand and one things from bad installation to getting a bad piece of equipment, but I don't really care.
The C6 3.15 can hold what I am doing to it:
A Yank 3200 tight stall for cam with a set of Lloyd Elliot's 241s a costume ground 232/238 600/600 113+3 LSA and an RPM4L60E stage 4 tranny. The final numbers should be around 390 to 400 rwhp N/A. Now if I was running 3600 or 4000 stall, 3.42's and at the track every weekend yeah, but she might see the track 2 to 3 times a year, also I am installing an external diff cooler from B&M.
What say you
