it was just fine except when it was slipping. i just put a clutch in it this winter and took it for the 1st road trip 2 weekends ago when it slipped in 6th when i went to pass someone. but i put big *** tires on and it slipped in 3rd tonite so i went and bled it. put the pedal to the floor and cracked the bleeder then closed it, she took her foot off the clutch and we repeted that again. the second time she said it got hard lol, so i said lets do it one more time and then i told her to check the master cylinder and she did, it was full. so i did the sequence over and no fluid OHHH **** I DIDNT TELL HER THERS TWO RESEIVORS. so thats how the air got in the system and now i have a prob.

Fill resevoir. Open bleeder. Have assistant depress clutch pedal and hold it down until bleeder is closed. Release clutch pedal and repeat until all air is out. The fluid hose is short so it doesn't take too many cycles of the clutch pedal, but as you already know the resevoir is small so keep a close watch on the fluid level as after a couple of pedal depressions. Top off fluid frequently during the process.

you can bleed it until you are blue in the face and it will slip.
air in the system will only effect the disengagement.

Your hydraulics has absolutely nothing to do with your clutch slipping. Your clutch is slipping because your clutch needs to be replaced.

There's only so much bleeding you can do. That line isn't that long that is requires a gallon of hydraulic fluid. If the clutch disc is new it won't slip if it is clamped to the flywheel by the pressure plate. If the pressure plate is new it will clamp the friction disc unless acted upon by the release bearing. If the slave is new it won't unclamp the friction disc unless you depress the clutch pedal. Do you have the correct slave? Is it causing the to partially release the friction disc even when you don't have the pedal depressed?

ughh i dont know where to start. all i can say is i replaced the clutch & flywheel and put the shim behind the slave this winter and put maybe 50 miles on it before i took it on a road trip a few weeks ago. went to pass someone and it felt like an automatic trans slip. i let off right away and tried it again. same thing in 5th. so now i bleed the clutch and bleed it dry . so i finally have a hard pedal again and took it out and the samething happens but i noticed it in 3rd now. do u think my slave is takeing a ****

If your clutch is slipping you may be pulling your trany back out.

ya but why would it be slipping? is it because i got air into the slave and now somethings screwed up? it just doesnt make since. i just took it out again and its doing it in 2nd. it does it when u get on it. when u hit the gas and let off quick u feel the slipping and the rpms flutter as in they increase in the same way the trans slips if that makes any since.

hahaha....dude not to **** you off or get you mad but the clutch and trans WILL have to come back out...bet ya...whats happenin is the shim....thats prolly not needed...is putting presure on the clutch. Its kind of like slipping the **** out of it. I dont care if the clutch has fifty miles on it, if the slave is over shimed youll kill the clutch...
